What will you do?

1. Process prescriptions with patience, empathy, and care, building trusted customer relationships.
2. Troubleshoot rejected insurance claims and resolve issues for optimal customer outcomes.
3. Follow department procedures to input data, dispense medication, and verify information.
4. Assist in maintaining smooth department operations, manage inventory through ordering, and stock supplies.
5. Handle products properly, operate equipment, keep accurate logs, and adhere to sanitation standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Computer literacy
• Ability to perform basic math for data entry and prescription filling without errors
• State-specific requirements, possibly including Pharmacy Technician certification
• For New Jersey applicants: must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management and ordering products
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification

Note: Certification or state registration may be required depending on location. Wegmans may hire prior to certification, supporting candidates through the process. Certified Pharmacy Technicians may earn a $.50/hour shift differential at participating locations.
