Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in a covered clinic setting. Schedule includes weekdays with some evenings.

Responsibilities include processing orders, maintaining stock, and clerical duties while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Michigan license is required and reliable transportation is expected.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Michigan.
• Ability to use own car to travel to site for coverage when needed.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records.
• Assist Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensuring compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
