Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Bradenton, FL. The role involves dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on accurate dispensing and inventory management in a compliant environment. Prior Florida license and prescription data entry experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• 1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience is required.
• Access to reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under supervision.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Florida

1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
