Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and cleanroom protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License (or eligibility to obtain).
• 6 months–1 year of experience in a pharmacy, compounding lab, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and cGMP documentation practices.
• National PTCB certification (CPhT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and aseptic compounding of sterile injectable medications (training provided for trainees/freshers).
• Maintain cleanroom compliance, including gowning, sanitization, environmental monitoring, and aseptic behavior.
• Label, package, and document finished products per batch records and SOPs.
• Support equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and calibration activities.
• Participate in visual inspection, lot reconciliation, and inventory management tasks.
• Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and all documentation requirements.
• Assist pharmacists and supervisors in workflow efficiency, process improvement, and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, USP, and internal quality standards.
