Job summary

North Memorial Health is hiring an outpatient pharmacy technician to assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and distribution. You will work under a registered pharmacist, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and maintain accurate records.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of outpatient experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with POS systems. This is an on-site role in Maple Grove with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician required.

• Experience with outpatient pharmacy settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparation and distribution of outpatient prescriptions.

About this position

The outpatient pharmacy technician assists pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of outpatient prescriptions. The outpatient pharmacy technician works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in a manner consistent with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

*Prior experience with Epic willow preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (required)

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient pharmacy experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Computer, keyboard, and point of sale skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Licensure/Certification

• Minnesota Pharmacy Technician State Standard

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
