Job summary

The Cigna Group is hiring an on-site Pharmacy Technician Representative in Norcross, GA to support pharmacists with dispensing and shipping medications. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and provides health coverage from day one along with holiday pay and a clear path for growth and advancement.

You will assist with inventory, record retention, packaging and shipping, and ensure adherence to USP guidelines and other drug-handling standards while communicating effectively

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1-year relevant work experience preferred clerical experience and experience in a retail/specialty pharmacy setting.
• Valid Georgia Pharmacy technician license required and National certification preferred.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/pharmacy production environment.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with team members internally and externally to ensure our patients receive timely accurate deliveries.
• Use the knowledge you gain from training, your problem-solving skills, and support from your team to manage inventory, coordinate record retention, package and ship medications, and assist with facility operations.
• Help to manage and store inventory in correct and safe manner following USP Guidelines.
• Work within USP 800 Hazardous Guidelines and other drug handling guidelines to ensure the safety of our team and patients.
• Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail. You will be busy handling multiple requests at any given time as well as documenting information in our computer system.
