Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Memphis, TN. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1p–10p Central Time, with alternating Fridays off and occasional Saturdays.

You will process prescriptions, select medications, prepare labels, and support packaging and shipment, with strong attention to detail and good communication. Requires Tennessee license, 1+ year experience, high school diploma, and willingness to learn

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Tennessee State License pharmacy technician.
• Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (Microsoft Office, Internet, Email).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.
• Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for new and refill prescriptions.
• Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
• Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles.
• Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription based programs.
• Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
• Enclose client specified materials to orders.
• Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier.
• Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies like pill bottles, caps, safety seals, and paper.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, from 1p to 10p Central Time, with every other Friday off. On the alternating weeks, Saturday hours are from 4a to 12p Central Time.
