Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization seeks a Pharmacy Technician - Procurement & Logistics at Maine Medical Center in Westbrook, ME. You will purchase, receive, store, and distribute medications and supplies, and manage purchase orders and invoices to keep the supply chain moving.

You will ensure compliance with medication supply chain requirements and recalls, collaborating with pharmacists, clinicians, and vendors to maintain accurate inventory and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current or eligible for applicable state license as a Pharmacy Technician. CPhT required.
• Three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.

The Pharmacy Technician - Procurement & Logistics role is responsible for purchasing, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining the inventory of medications and supplies; processing purchase orders and invoices; managing medication recalls; and ensuring compliance with all medication supply chain requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• Experience: Three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient in inventory systems and online ordering platforms. Knowledge of FDA standards, controlled substance regulations, and hazardous drug handling. Strong communication and collaboration skills with vendors, pharmacists, and clinical staff.

The pay range for this position is $23.38to $31.63 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
