Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in pharmacy or as a technician is required.
• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician registration and BLS certification are required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs extemporaneous compounding and unit-dose preparation per policy.
• Performs IV calculations and prepares IV admixtures using aseptic technique.
• Delivers medications on time and handles controlled substances per guidelines.
• Assists with ordering, inventory management and restocking to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provides prompt and courteous service and supports staff in multiple areas.
