Job summary

CompleteRx is hiring a Pharmacy Technician (PRN) to support patient care at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas. This hospital position offers shifts across day, evening, and weekend with a pay differential for second shifts and weekends.

You will assist with procurement, preparation of sterile products, and delivery of medications while handling stock rotation and ensuring accurate charges and credits. High school diploma and Texas registration are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Current Texas pharmacy technician registration.

Responsibilities

• Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders.
• Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts, and floor stock accurately.
• Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately.
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately.
• Rotates stock to ensure use before the expiration date.
• Picks up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas during delivery rounds.
• Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately.
• Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs.
