SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for PRN/As Needed scheduling. You will support the pharmacy team by dispensing medications, assisting pharmacists, and handling IV preparation under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and state pharmacy technician registration, with 1–2 years of experience preferred. Per diem/performance-based hours, with opportunities for growth and a clinical team focused on rehabilitation care.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required based on state requirement.
• Preferred: one to two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assists pharmacist in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
• Fills medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepares IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prints out and fills label requests for First dose or Stat medications.
• Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed.

Schedule: PRN/As Needed (weekday shifts 8a-4:30p, weekend shifts 8a-1:30p)

Compensation: $20.50/PRN Rate
