Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will dispense medications, maintain drug inventory, and accurately update patient records under the supervision of a pharmacist.

What you will do in this role:

• Fill medication orders requested by physicians or pharmacists and deliver to patient care areas.
• Dispense controlled substances with proper documentation; report any discrepancies or suspected diversions.
• Ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies according to policies and procedures.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals and supplies, rotating stock, and replacing outdated drugs.
• Pick up orders, requisitions, and medications for return during delivery rounds.
• Organize and prioritize work, respond promptly to requests.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Active Registered pharmacy technician or intern, as per State requirements, with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
