The role you’ll contribute:

Supports pharmacists and provides distributive pharmacy services to ensure safe and accurate medication services, supporting all direct patient care activities.

Performs all pharmacy technician functions actively and maintains proficiency in:

  • Standard work parameters
  • Operational programs
  • Delivery and compounding systems

Maintains operational expertise and provides coverage of technician services in the Central Pharmacy, overseeing medication automation, technology, and computer systems. Accurately interprets electronic records, manages medication inventories, prepares and delivers patient-specific medication doses, and ensures proper drug, dose, and barcode scanning practices.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • High school diploma
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in your state or within 90 days based on state requirements
  • Sterile Compounding Certification, if applicable to the facility
