The role you’ll contribute:

Supports pharmacists and provides distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe and accurate medication services to support all involved in direct patient care.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains proficiency in:
    • Standard work parameters
    • Operational programs
    • Delivery and compounding systems

Maintains operational expertise and provides coverage of technician services in:

  • Central Pharmacy

Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems, including:

  • Accurate interpretation of electronic records
  • Maintaining expertise in Cerner processes

Accurately manages medication inventories and prepares/delivers patient-specific medication doses, including:

  • Managing medication delivery activities
  • Preparing accurate medication products for delivery
  • Preventing improper drug, dose, dosage form selection, expiration dating, and barcode scanning issues

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • High school diploma
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in their respective state or within 90 days, based on state requirements
  • If applicable to facility, Sterile Compounding Certification
