About the Team

Alto is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to provide an outstanding patient experience from onboarding through delivery at our Long Island pharmacy. We aim to improve patient health outcomes by transforming the traditional pharmacy model, making medication access simple and seamless through quality service. We seek a team player who is analytical, detail-oriented, reliable, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control and consolidate prescription orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy of medication details.
• Coordinate with in-house couriers to deliver medications timely.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to enhance internal systems.
• Fill, label, and package prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and process patient orders promptly with attention to detail.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receipt confirmation, and stock maintenance.
• Apply pharmacy industry knowledge to innovate within our company.
• Collaborate and cross-train across departments as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to deliver prescriptions within designated zones.
• Open availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in multitasking across platforms.
• Effective communication skills.
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ months of pharmacy experience.
• Experience in retail or long-term care settings.

Physical and Other Job Requirements:

• Exposed to a standard office environment.
• Lift/carry up to 35 lbs, stand/walk for most of the day, and perform repetitive motions.
• Operate necessary equipment and follow instructions accurately.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $21.00/hr

Additional benefits include paid sick time, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, and potential eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance based on hours worked. Alto is unable to sponsor visas at this time. Employment is limited to residents of WA, CA, NV, CO, TX, and NY.
