Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. This role supports two or more pharmacy function areas, including production, distribution, and inventory management, ensuring accurate handling of medications.

You will perform technical duties related to handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals and provide patient care services across neonatal to geriatric populations, under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Georgia.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
• Perform technical duties involved with handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• Demonstrate proficiency to practice in two or more pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient).
• Provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
