Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist the pharmacist with filling, compounding, and dispensing orders. You will perform technical duties in handling, packaging, and delivering medications, contributing to patient care across all age groups in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
• Handle, package, and deliver pharmaceuticals; perform related technical duties.
• Demonstrate proficiency across two or more pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, home care/outpatient).
• Provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
