Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required per state.
• National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Maintain proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Provide courteous and caring customer communication by phone.
• Route calls to ensure top level service and issue resolution.
