Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Eastern Michigan in Brighton, Michigan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to accurately enter prescriptions and manage dispensing workflows. You will communicate with customers by phone, verify dosage details, and maintain precise notes in the pharmacy system.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy Technician license or certification (state requirements) with 2+ years of related experience, and preferably a national certification (PTCB).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; state requirements
• Pharmacy tech license/certification per state requirements
• PTCB certification preferred
• 2+ years related experience (may substitute with advanced degree)

Responsibilities

• Enter and process prescriptions into the pharmacy system accurately
• Triage incoming prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing
• Communicate with customers by phone and respond to needs courteously
• Maintain proper notes in computer and dosage calculations
• Support inventory, filing, and processing as needed
