Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a Safeway location in Arizona. You will support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state laws.

You will interact with customers, handle transactions, and help maintain orderly records and supplies in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable.
• Experience with data entry, prescription processing, and medication preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to operate pharmacy systems and perform basic math calculations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and assist with data entry under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare medications and ensure accurate labeling and dosing.
• Assist customers with questions and direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean and compliant.
