Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice, in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if certified.
• Providing excellent customer service and building relationships with valuable customers.

Additional duties:

• Supporting pharmacy operations such as prescription filling, inventory management, and clerical tasks.
• Assisting with clinical services and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers.
• Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through Walgreens’ training program or state certification.
• Attend training, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on healthcare developments.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
