Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices to deliver excellent service, including interpersonal skills and proactive help.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, verification, and workflow management.
• Reporting prescription errors and adhering to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting with inventory, and supporting clinical services as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, stocked, and orderly pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification, with promotion requirements as applicable.
• Participating in training and continuing education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
