Pharmacy Technician / Pharm Tech Apprenticeship

Our pharmacy technician positions have shifted from a transaction-based to a patient-centric environment. As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you'll interact with customers and develop strong patient relationships. Walgreens invests in an "earn while you learn" Pharmacy Technician Training Program recognized by ASHP & the Department of Labor, guiding you towards becoming a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician and maintaining high industry standards.

Whether new or experienced, Walgreens will train you to serve and care for patients and customers. The program provides foundational and advanced knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experience to prepare you for certification.

• Assist the pharmacist in pharmacy practice under supervision, following regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to manage patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolving issues and building relationships.

Customer Experience

• Engage with customers, offer assistance, and ensure a positive experience.
• Share best practices in customer service and develop strong customer relationships.

Operations

• Support pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, inventory management, and clerical duties.
