Whether you're new or experienced, Walgreens will train you to serve and care for our patients and customers. Our program includes courses, activities, and resources designed to build your knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experience to become a certified pharmacy technician.

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision, in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and develop strong customer relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members.
• Build relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Support pharmacy activities, including prescription filling, inventory management, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Report prescription errors and adhere to dispensing policies.
• Handle cash register transactions and assist with clinical services as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program.
• Attend training sessions and acquire continuing education credits.
• Must be fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours.
• Prefer six months of retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
