Shift: 4
Schedule: Shift times vary Monday through Friday with weekend rotation. Employee will be based at Eye Institute Pharmacy but may support other campus pharmacies as needed.
Coordinates daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the assigned location. Acts as a resource for technicians, providing guidance on technical and operational matters. Assists pharmacists with medication processing and drug therapy monitoring. May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under pharmacist supervision. Works within Wisconsin statutes and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
Leadership training preferred.
Exceptional customer service, effective communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, leadership, computer proficiency.
Apply for Wisconsin pharmacy technician registration by hire date; must be obtained within 12 months. Certification (CPhT) through PTCE or ExCPT required within 6 months of hire.
