Responsibilities:

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and answering questions.

Customer Experience:

• Greet customers and offer assistance, ensuring a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices and develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations:

• Assist in pharmacy practices under supervision, including data entry, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies regarding dispensing and quality assurance.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and manage pharmacy inventory and clerical duties.
• Support clinical services and maintain good relationships with healthcare providers and the community.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program or state certification, with promotion contingent on certification.
• Attend training, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
