Responsibilities include:

1. In accordance with state and federal regulations, assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assist in other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practices under supervision, ensure compliance with policies, and follow the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Perform duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions. Support workflow and report errors promptly.
• Handle sales transactions, assist with inventory management, and support clinical services as needed.
• Maintain the pharmacy environment, support external relationships, and ensure compliance with policies.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program or state registration. Certification may be required for promotion.
• Attend training, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on healthcare developments.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (excluding Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
