Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other pharmacy duties according to company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers on system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

1. Supporting pharmacy practice under supervision, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting in workflow management.
2. Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
3. Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
4. Supporting inventory management activities, maintaining store appearance, and assisting in clinical services and community outreach as needed.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education, with promotion contingent upon certification where applicable.
2. Participating in training sessions, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying updated on healthcare developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
