Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting in other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practice under supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, and verifying medication accuracy.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies on dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management and clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification; earning certification as a condition for promotion.
• Attending training sessions, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
