Pharmacy Technician / Pharm Tech Apprenticeship

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting pharmacists under supervision, in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and obtain patient and drug information.
• Providing excellent customer service and building relationships with valuable customers.

Additional duties:

• Supporting pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, verifying medicines, and managing inventory.
• Assisting in clinical services and healthcare outreach as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, stocked, and orderly pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification, with support from Walgreens.
• Attend training and acquire continuing education credits.
• Must be fluent in English (excluding Puerto Rico) and willing to work flexible hours.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
