Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and procedures.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and building relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance, and ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow management.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and safety policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
• Support inventory management, clinical services, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Support relationships with healthcare providers and community outreach efforts.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the training program and/or state certification.
• Attend training sessions and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (excluding Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
