This apprenticeship helps you become a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certified Pharmacy Technician and maintain high standards in pharmacy care. Responsibilities include:

• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and develop strong customer relationships.

Additional duties:

• Perform pharmacy duties such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors and adhere to quality and safety policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers, and support inventory management.
• Support clinical services and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and comply with policies.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification, attend training, and pursue continuing education.
• Must be fluent in English (except Puerto Rico), willing to work flexible hours, and preferably have retail experience, good math, and computer skills. PTCB certification is preferred.
