Ridley's Family Markets, Inc. is seeking an Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in daily operations, counsel patients, handle prescription transfers, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and store policies. You will contribute to accurate dispensing and customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

The role requires adherence to training programs and ongoing continuing education, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in medication handling within Idaho regulations.

Formación

• Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
• Ability to readily adapt to changes in schedule specifications and work priorities.
• Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
• Must complete all required state, federal and company training programs (HIPAA, Methamphetamine, FWA, I-pledge, etc.)

Responsabilidades

• Takes all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and company policies; counts, pours or measures quantities and affixes labels.
• Responds to telephone requests from customers, physicians, and vendors; defers to pharmacist when necessary.
• Communicates with peers, managers, physicians, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assists with monthly CII audits.
• Understands procedures for billing, filling, and dispensing products.
• Ensures timely implementation of policies and programs; enforces professional and operational standards.
• Maintains all state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.
• Stocks pharmacy product orders to specific bay locations.
• Helps train other pharmacy technicians and adheres to state regulations regarding training.
• Maintains inventory levels to company goals; rotates stock and uses RX return process.
• Adheres to Department Appearance Standards and dress code.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and leadership.
• Participates in all company sponsored programs.
