Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacist in daily operations, provide patient counseling, and help with prescription transfers while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

You will handle prescription filling steps, assist customers by phone, maintain controlled substances records, manage inventory, and participate in training to uphold high professional standards in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
• Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
• Must complete all required state, federal and company training programs. (i.e., HIPAA, Methamphetamine, FWA, I-pledge, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Takes steps to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and company procedures.
• Responds to telephone requests from customers, physicians, and vendors within the scope of the law.
• Maintains state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.
• Stocks pharmacy product orders and assists with inventory management.
• Assists with training pharmacy technicians and supports schedule adherence.
• Participates in company programs as directed by management.
