Job summary

Ridley's Family Markets in the United States is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in daily operations, fill prescriptions, provide patient counseling, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and store policies.

You will handle prescription transfers, maintain accurate records, stock shelves, participate in audits, and support training while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions in compliance with laws and company procedures; labels containers.
• Responds to telephone requests from customers, physicians, and vendors.
• Collaborates with peers, managers, and customers in a courteous, professional manner.
• Assists with monthly CII audits.
• Understands billing, filling, and dispensing procedures.
• Implements company policies and enforces standards per regulations.
• Maintains all state and federal records for controlled substances.
• Stocks pharmacy product orders to designated bay locations.
• Helps train other pharmacy technicians and adheres to training/licensure rules.
• Maintains inventory levels, rotates stock, and uses RX return process.
• Adheres to appearance and dress code standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager and store leadership.
• Participates in company-sponsored programs.
