Job summary

Providence Ambulatory Services in Portland, Oregon seeks an Associate Pharmacy Technician for a full-time day shift. You will perform duties under a pharmacist's supervision, handling patient medications and supporting Retail, Mail Order, and Specialty Pharmacy operations.

The role requires an Oregon Pharmacy Technician license and/or Oregon certification, with a background check as per policy. Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Oregon Pharmacy Technician License is required upon hire.
• Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician credential is required upon hire.
• Criminal background check is required per Providence policy.
• National Certification/CPhT is preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision.
• Performs all typical duties of a retail or call center pharmacy staff technician.
• Communicate with and service the needs of the Retail, Mail Order, and Specialty Pharmacy clientele.
