Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR is seeking an Associate Pharmacy Technician for a per diem/variable shift. The role involves filling and dispensing unit doses and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments, including oral and IV meds, while triaging orders and ensuring the automated dispensing system remains accurate.

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician or
• Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
• Inpatient experience.
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
