Job summary

Qualifications

• Required registration and certification as a pharmacy technician.
• PTCB or NHA certification required upon hire.
• State board registration must be active at hire.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, input and prepare labels and packages for inpatient or outpatient orders to maintain efficient medication delivery.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, customers, and coworkers; participate in interdepartmental groups to promote safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medications, calculations, regulations, PPE, and patient safety to ensure quality care and compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks such as billing and inventory to support efficient distribution of medications.
• Assist with record collection and maintenance for accreditation and regulatory bodies as required by policy.
• Maintain competence in two specialized roles within Pharmacy to support operations and patient care.
