The Kroger Co. in Roanoke, VA is seeking a pharmacy clerk to deliver friendly customer service and assist pharmacists in daily operations, maintaining safety, accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include ordering, inventory control, cash handling, patient triage, and providing health and wellness services within state and federal regulations; you will support a safe, welcoming store environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Any previous comparable experience is desired.
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk is desired.
• EPRN familiarity is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional customer service and comply with all regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with duties and maintain accuracy during dispensing.
• Assist with ordering from wholesalers and manage inventory.
• Follow guidelines for computerized inventory management and pricing.
• Maintain clean, organized work stations and patient waiting areas.
• Handle cashier duties and tendering payments (credit/debit, EBT, cash).
• Triage calls and respond to inquiries; provide health and wellness information within legal scope.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies to protect patient information.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and community health efforts.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful store environment and teamwork.
