Job summary

Kroger is hiring a Pharmacy Clerk to support store health and wellness services and assist pharmacists in providing patient care. You will help customers, process prescriptions, maintain accurate records, and uphold HIPAA and company privacy standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education required and ability to handle confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines according to health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Understand and follow the company guidelines on the operation of the cash register and cashier handling policies to prevent loss.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
• HIPAA regulations compliance.
