Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a pharmacy-related clerk to support customer service and health-and-w wellness initiatives in a fast-paced store environment. You will ensure a safe, clean and inclusive space, assist with inventory, and handle transactions with accuracy.

You will work closely with the pharmacist team, adhere to HIPAA regulations, and help patients with health and wellness services while maintaining high standards of integrity and customer care.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Follow cash handling procedures and operate the POS system accurately.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including theft or fraud.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines and alert management of unsafe conditions.
• Perform ordering and inventory tasks with wholesalers and manage medication and supply stock.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities as allowed and support HIPAA compliance.
