Job summary

The Kroger Co. is hiring a pharmacy technician to support health and wellness services in a customer-focused environment.

You will assist pharmacists, process data entry and dispensing steps, and participate in both dispensing and non-dispensing services while adhering to HIPAA rules. Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, completing required registrations and licenses, and following sanitation and safety guidelines in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as required by state.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Minimum age 18 and valid for state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow company policies.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with state and federal law.
