Job summary

You'll support health and wellness initiatives, adhere to HIPAA, assist pharmacists, manage cash register operations, and maintain clean, organized workstations in a safe, compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement
• Provide a stellar customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
• Operate the cash register and follow cashier policies to prevent loss including electronic payments and cash/cheques
• Handle vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines
• Answer phone and triage calls and inquiries
• Complete billing procedures to ensure best value
• Count, measure and prepare specified products per company practices
• Maintain inventory and prepare orders from wholesalers
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation and safety regulations and notify management of unsafe conditions
• Comply with all regulations and report illegal activity as required
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
