Job summary

ShopRite - Pharmacy Technician at the Route 37 location in Toms River, NJ, provides medication and other health care products with high customer care. The role supports the Pharmacist, processes prescriptions, and maintains a clean, organized pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform mathematical functions including basic arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Input patient information for processing a prescription.
• Assist the Pharmacist in processing a prescription, counting and labeling.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed by Pharmacist.
• Maintain security, cleanliness, and safe work environment in Pharmacy Department.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws, HIPAA, and company policies.
