Job summary

ShopRite - Pharmacy Technician (Bottino NJ) Salary Range $15.92 - $16.39/hr. The role delivers a great customer experience while assisting the Pharmacist in providing medication and other healthcare products to patients/customers accurately and with the highest level of customer care.

The position requires minimum qualifications including age 18, state licensing, English proficiency, math ability, standing/walking, dexterity, color/shape recognition, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately collect payment and provide correct change.
• Input patient information for processing prescriptions.
• Assist Pharmacist in processing prescriptions, counting and labeling.
• Stock and organize pharmaceuticals as directed.
• Help customers locate over-the-counter items.
• Maintain security of Pharmacy Department.
• Interact with physicians and use reference materials to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
• Comply with all drug laws and HIPAA requirements.
