Job summary

ShopRite of Bound Brook is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in providing medications and healthcare products with excellent customer care. You will process prescriptions, greet customers, and maintain stock while ensuring safety and compliance with pharmacy laws.

The role requires 18+ years of age, proper licensing, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. This position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Proficient reading, writing, speaking English.
• Ability to perform mathematical functions including decimals.
• Ability to stand/walk and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Input patient information for processing a prescription.
• Assist Pharmacist in processing prescription and labeling.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Comply with drug laws, HIPAA, and QA standards.
• Stand for duration of shift and handle heavy items.
