Job summary

ShopRite of Branchburg is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and assisting customers. The role focuses on accurate processing, friendly service, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Position requires the ability to read, write and communicate in English, lift up to 50 lbs, and work as part of a team in a busy retail pharmacy environment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• Perform basic math operations.
• Stand/walk for full shifts; lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
• Handle prescriptions with care and confidentiality.
• Comply with all policies, schedules and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Process prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision; count and label.
• Input patient information for processing prescriptions.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed.
• Assist customers in locating over‑the‑counter items.
• Maintain security and cleanliness of the Pharmacy area.
• Follow all regulatory requirements and company policies.
