Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Oshkosh, WI to support licensed pharmacists in medication preparation and distribution. The role focuses on accuracy, labeling, inventory, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

You will assist with third-party billing, data entry, immunization certification may be pursued, and you may participate in quality initiatives. The position is part-time with a schedule aligned to pharmacy hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
• Accurately selects, prepares, and labels medications for patients including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assists with medication distribution tasks.
• Screens phone calls and routes as needed using proper telephone etiquette.
• Assists in daily pharmacy procurement, inventory control, and outdate checking.
• Complete documentation required for removing, stocking, and wasting controlled substances.
