Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with technical duties in preparation and distribution of medications.
• Select, prepare, and label medications for patients including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Screen phone calls and route as needed using proper telephone etiquette.
• Assist in daily pharmacy procurement, inventory control, and outdate checking.
• Perform nonsterile compounding following USP standards; sterile IV admixture as applicable.
• Document medication histories and data entry into the pharmacy system; support immunization as applicable.
