Job summary
Altruix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to support the Long-Term Care team at Crossroads Treatment Center of Carrick in Carrick, PA. This onsite, part-time role coordinates medications, supports patient care, and serves as the liaison between Crossroads, patients, providers, and the Altruix pharmacy team.
The schedule runs Tue 10:00 AM-3:30 PM, Thu 10:00 AM-2:30 PM, and Fri 10:00 AM-3:30 PM.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required with pharmacy technician registration in PA.
- Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or medical office settings preferred.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills essential.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as onsite liaison between Altruix and Crossroads Treatment Center of Carrick.
- Coordinate patient medications and support pharmacy operations onsite.
- Enter accurate patient and prescription details in pharmacy systems.
- Assist with prior authorizations, insurance verification, and benefits checks.
- Provide excellent customer service and coordinate care with providers and staff.
